What is a One Stop Career Center (OSCC)?
The Term One-Stop Career Center is used to describe each individual State's online employment center and what it has to offer in the way of Career Assistance. Employers and jobseekers alike can find the services they need at their State's One-Stop Career Center.
Most One-Stop Career Centers can provide Labor Market Information in the form of employment trends, average wages, high demand occupations, and more. Most One-Stop Centers can link you to a multitude of service providers for a wide range of assistance such as Job Seeker services in the form of resume writing, interviewing skills, job search assistance, Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Training Program Providers, Aging Services, Department of Public Welfare, Education Providers, and other service provider locations relevant to employment, training, and economic development.
